Because some of UZURV’s partners include, hospitals, government agencies, insurance companies and non-profits, our drivers need to be versed in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, as well as the privacy expectations of HIPAA. While it takes some time to complete the certification and credentialing, our drivers find earning ~30% more per trip than driving typical rideshare makes it well worth the effort!
Drivers are paid for each trip they take, and the pay for a trip is always shown before you select the trip. UZURV works directly with providers such as government transit agencies, insurance companies, and nonprofits to make sure our certified drivers are paid good money for the work. Our drivers find that the pay for trips tends to be ~30% more per trip than driving typical rideshare.
We use live trip monitoring (provided through the UZURV app) to make sure drivers and passengers are safe and supported. This means you’ll have a driver care specialist ready to step in with help should you need it.
UZURV is designed for everyone. UZURV Riders are typically people in your community, including those who need additional assistance with mobility. The majority of our riders depend on everyday vehicles for transportation.
