How to get started

Verify your email and set up your account
Look for an email from UZURV with steps to verify your email address.
Then, follow the instructions in the Ride app to create your account using your Access GSO Client ID Number.

Schedule a ride
Enter the date, time, and location for your pick-up and your destination address.

Track your ride
Follow your Driver’s progress to your pick-up (or drop-off) location in real-time.

Meet your driver at the door and enjoy your ride!
The app will notify you when your driver has arrived. Your driver will meet you at the door and provide assistance to the vehicle.

Payment Types

Is anything changing about my I-Ride service?
Your fare amount and high-quality UZURV service remain the same.
The main difference is that you can now access the UZURV Ride app. That means you can schedule a ride with UZURV where you want and when you want.
The UZURV Ride app gives you convenient ride scheduling, management, and tracking tools.
Do I have to use the Ride app to book rides?
No. You will still be able to enjoy UZURV’s service without the app.
You can simply book a ride through the UZURV call center. To reach the call center, call (336) 663-1693 during the hours listed below.
What is the UZURV Ride app?
UZURV Ride is an ADA-Accessible, WCAG 2.1 AA Certified app that allows you to easily schedule, track, and manage your UZURV rides all in one place.
What are the key benefits of the Ride app?
With the UZURV Ride app, you can….
- Book rides same day or schedule in advance.
- See pick-up and drop-off arrival times for every ride in real time.
- Access live support by phone or email. Gain more flexibility by booking round trips, setting your favorite pick-up & drop-off locations, and updating reservations – all in the app.
How do I create an account?
Before you begin, make sure you have your Access GSO Client ID Number and the email address associated with your I-Ride account (if available).
- Download the Ride app on either your iPhone or Android phone.
- Tap Sign Up on the app’s home screen to create an account and follow the steps to enter your profile information.
- Check your inbox for a message from UZURV asking to verify your email address.
- Open the app to continue setting up your account and start scheduling rides.

Is there a fee to use the app?
No. The UZURV Ride app is free to download and use. However, I-Ride rides have a flat rate of $8.50. This will cover travel anywhere within the city limits of Greensboro.
What if I need to cancel a scheduled ride?
You can cancel scheduled rides easily in the Ride app or by contacting the call center at (336) 663-1693 during the hours listed below.
Riders will incur a $8.50 fee for canceling less than 1 hour before a scheduled ride or failing to show up for a scheduled ride. View the Rider Policy page for more details.
