New Addition to Paratransit Service in Durham

A new service provider called UZURV is now providing service in GoDurham ACCESS. The UZURV service will be part of regular service. The vehicles are regular passenger vehicles providing GoDurham ACCESS customers direct, origin-to-destination, door-to-door service rides with fully credentialed drivers.

UZURV vehicles are marked with a green UZURV sticker decal and a GoDurham ACCESS magnet on the vehicle.

UZURV helps GoDurham ACCESS ensure timely service and quality experience for their riders and is NOT an additional service that can be selected during booking.

The GoDurham ACCESSservice offers:

  • Door-to-door service
  • Private, non-stop service to anywhere in the City of Durham and Durham County.
  • Drivers credentialed in ADA, HIPAA, CPR & First Aid, and defensive driving.

How much does it cost?

As this supplemental service is provided by GoDurham Access, there is no additional cost for customers

How GoDurham ACCESS works:

Eligible customers can schedule service in advance or same-day, in as little as two hours prior to the requested pick up time.
Call 919-560-1551 (option 2) to make a reservation.

Provide the following information:

  • Name
  • Date and time of pick up
  • Pick up and drop-off addresses
  • Number of passengers

Look for the green UZURV sticker and GoDurham ACCESS magnet on your driver’s vehicle when they arrive for pick up.
