Driver Criminal History and Motor Vehicle Screening FAQ
UZURV partners with Checkr for criminal background checks and SambaSafety for motor vehicle record checks. UZURV partners with select fingerprint screening services in markets where required.

UZURV communicates via the email address associated with your DriveApp profile. Our screening partners communicate via the email address registered on their platform. You can check your credentials in Checkr here: https://candidate.checkr.com/login.
You will receive an in-app notification once a screening has completed. Checkr will send the criminal background screening report via email. UZURV will send the motor vehicle screening report via email. Any additional communication, notices, or required actions are communicated via email. You may need to check your SPAM folder.
A member of our Driver Credentialing team will review your report to make sure it meets criteria required to operate on our platform.
Checkr will send information on actions you may take regarding criminal background decisions via email. UZURV will send information on actions you may take regarding motor vehicle history decisions via email. The email will inform you of the adjudication and dispute process and if applicable, ineligibility periods.
The dispute process is only intended to contest incorrect or inaccurate information contained within your screening report. If additional information is needed during the dispute process, Checkr, SambaSafety, or UZURV will contact you.

The vendor (Checkr or SambaSafety), or UZURV will review your supporting documents to validate whether a change is required.
Note: A dispute does not guarantee a change in the outcome. Any active warrants, probation, open, pending, non-dispositioned offenses or driver license suspensions are non-disputable until the matter has been resolved.
Possibly. There are various factors that determine eligibility. Each market has its own criteria. In some instances, you may become eligible after the lookback period for the failed criteria expires. You must meet all eligibility requirements for any market in which you want to drive for UZURV.
At least annually. Some programs and state laws require a more frequent review. Motor vehicle records are subject to continuous monitoring unless you are removed from the platform.
