Originally piloted in 2017, the partnership stretched across 19 states. UZURV’s credentialed drivers provided comfortable and reliable rides for patients navigating cancer appointments, including radiology, chemotherapy, and surgery. The ACS care team was able to quickly and effectively provide on-demand rides and schedule reliable transportation care well in advance. The program removed transportation barriers, reduced financial obstacles, and provided compassionate support to people with cancer.
