Getting your Maryland Safety Inspection (MSI)

For vehicles registered in Maryland, Drivers are required to have a current, valid Maryland Safety Inspection (MSI).
After the inspection, upload your MSI Certificate under both the Vehicle Inspection Certificate and the MD Vehicle Inspection Form in the app.
STEP 2
Download the Jiffy Lube Fleet Letter on your phone or print it.
Show the Jiffy Lube letter with Fleet Account # 13162520 to the Jiffy Lube attendant.
Your inspection is free ONLY if you provide the letter with the account number.
STEP 3
Upload your MSI Certificate under both the Vehicle Inspection Certificate and the MD Vehicle Inspection Form in the app.
All inspections are good for one year. Please enter your expiration date one year from the inspection date.
Be sure to upload the same MSI Certificate to both places in the app.
IMPORTANT:
- The only way to receive a free MSI is through Pep Boys, Valvoline, or Jiffy Lube. Drivers who complete an MSI at another station are responsible for the cost.
- UZURV does not reimburse for repairs or replacement items required to pass the inspection.
- Drivers who submit fraudulent inspection documents will be removed from the platform and will be ineligible to become a UZURV Driver.
