“Every single driver I’ve had with UZURV has gone the extra mile to make sure I’m comfortable and taken care of."
Keith S. – UZURV Rider
UZURV delivers transportation to older adults and people with disabilities that makes it possible for them to live a more independent and spontaneous life. But it’s the drivers who make it happen.
In the third post of the “What is UZURV?” series – we focus on how to become a UZURV driver and why it makes a difference in your community.
UZURV offers the opportunity to do meaningful work and get paid a good income while doing it. You can sign up anytime, work the schedule that works for you, and deliver an amazing service to people who truly need it.
Driving for UZURV means:
- Earning money that fits your goals without start-up costs.

- Driving as much or as little as you want.
- Being able to see what you will earn before taking on any trip.

- Serving your community by transporting riders who will appreciate the service you are providing.
How much do drivers make?
Most UZURV drivers report that they are able to earn 20 to 30 percent more per trip with UZURV than they earn on other driving platforms. This doesn’t include bonuses you can earn just by being on time. And it doesn’t include additional bonuses you can earn for everything from driving safe, for referring other drivers to UZURV, or when UZURV increases services in your community. Earnings can vary by program and are dependent on the number of trips you complete.

A Community of Drivers Serving a Community of Riders
UZURV drivers are retirees, nurses, graduate students, first responders, teachers, graphic designers, stay-at-home parents, and they reflect the diversity of the communities of riders they serve.
And speaking of communities, UZURV creates value that extends beyond the service for riders and earnings for drivers. We are transforming the way that transit agencies and communities serve older adults, people with disabilities and other transportation disadvantaged people, and we are doing it for less. In the final installment of our “What is UZURV” series, we will turn to the ways that UZURV is bringing accessibility, equity and cost savings to the rapidly evolving mobility on demand marketplace. It’s a great story, and we can’t wait to share it.
